What can I expect from my Holistic Nutrition Consultation?

Your initial consultation includes a 75 minute assessment using many tools to assess your current state of health and nutrition. I will help you develop an individualized nutrition and supplement plan to help restore you to an optimal state of health.

We will discuss your current health concerns, personal health and family history, identify toxic exposures and lifestyle influences that may be affecting your health, do a live blood cell analysis evaluation (if appointment is in person) and identify your nutritional imbalances through dietary assessments.

Before you come in, you will complete a lengthy Questionnaire about your personal health history and intake form that I will email to you, as well as a food diary for 4-7 days. This is very important information and gives me a better idea of where you might need some help nutritionally with your diet.

What is Live Blood Cell Analysis?

Live Blood Cell Microscopy is an assessment tool where a drop of blood from a client’s finger is placed on a microscope slide and viewed under a darkfield microscope magnified up to 1000x. The image is displayed on a monitor and is visible to both the practitioner and you, showing many aspects of your current state of health.

Examining live and dry blood allows practitioners to assess possible vitamin and minerals deficiencies, levels of dehydration, toxicity, pH balance, allergic reactions, parasites and a host of other possible conditions.
This is not used to treat or diagnose a condition; we use this tool to give us a deeper look at the root cause of possible issues that you, the client, is having.

Will I have to come back again?

Follow up appointments are an extremely important aspect of healing; HEALING TAKES TIME! Your concerns didn’t happen overnight and neither will your healing. You didn’t get here overnight and you won’t be able to heal that quickly either! Your follow up appointment allows us to assess the level of improvement, make some changes if necessary.

Updated recommendations cannot happen without follow-up appointments.

Follow ups should take place from 3 weeks to 2 months from our initial consultation, depending on your body’s needs and concerns. We will redo your questionnaire and live blood cell analysis if needed.

Re-balancing your terrain is a step-by-step process that cannot be rushed and we may need to make adjustments as we go.
